I don't really follow pop culture, but I did a little reading on this.
Some people are outraged that Simpson is being talked about as fat. She is not stick thin, but she is not overweight.
The problem with this attitude is the message it sends to young girls about the need to be model thin. This can cause a lot of problems with their health and self esteem in the future.
