WHAT!?! Test on ANIMALS?

I just learned this morning!! well I did not know that! I did google it and there were a few links but I want the confirm of making sure it is totally TRUE. I did not know that candymaker MARS such as M & M, Snickers, Twix, Dove and more candies under the MARS. They are testing on ANIMALS!!!! :mad2:

I am having second thoughts about eating candies. :( Anyone of you who have SKILL with researching to see if they continue to test on animals or they stop testing on animals. I highly doubt it.

I buy my dog cookis at a Co- Op and the woman that order the pet food told me that Mar candy brought some dog food companies , Nurto is one of them . I was buying my dog Norto dog food and cookies , but the co-op stop selling Nurto when War took over as Mar candy would not say were they are buying the grains from to made Nurto , and the co-op was worried that the grains could be coming from China! It is horrible but a lot dog food companies do treat animals awful! I heard Iams dog food grinded up babies chicks alive to made their dog food! Milk Bone dog cookies have 'cow by products 'in the
them. ' By prdouct ' is just a nice way of say 'SHIT'!
There is an add on TV of dog attacking a bowl dog food and the food is flying out off the bowl , this made it like the dog love the food! The poor dog was not fed for a few days so it would be so hunrgy it would eat anything!
If a dog it being feed on time every day , it would not be attacking his food like in the add! My dog do not feed like that! He does not have his food flying all over the floor! Fisher Price toys test on animals too!
 
Oh i see. yes they are testing on animals for animals food. but chocolate like M & M or mars or snickers that they are testing on animals!! candies?!?! i did not know about it.
 
Everyone knows that chocolate is bad for dogs...

what other animals that shouldn't eat chocolates? either way, it is cruelty to animals when it is a known fact that animals can not tolerate chocolates as well as people can.
 
either, they test on animal or human being, both are lose-lose.

well in that case, shall we ask Frisky for clarification and elaboration of the matter, what way was the animals tested by these chocolate/candy manufacturers?

yes i agree animals should not eat chocolate. The researchers are using animals to experiment on them to make sure chocolates are safe for people who enjoys eating candies! :( I thought chocolates are safe for poeple why do they need animals to test on them before people eats chocoalte huh?
 
They need some kind of machine that determine the safe level. not animals or people.

maybe they can test on plants ?
 
I'm pretty sure some of you heard of pop rocks.. where these cystals will explode in your mouth. I watched how they experiment these candies and they said that on certain level that cause the crystal to pop in your mouth, it could injure you. They have to test and retest to make sure it is on the safe level. I think they have been testing these type of candies on animals .


I rather stick with traditional candies.

women supposed to *love* chocolate cuz it doesnt argue...eat it exactly whenever they want..

i find that's really strange, testing on subjects with knowledge that chocolate is actually harmful for them !, alarming !
i know this, that ironically, testing for dog biscuits, cat biscuits, the testers are humans!! Its true, my brother is the boss for those factories, he told me.

That's real a strange twist!...

That's exaclty why i am puzzled that chocolates are not safe for animals yet they use chocolate to test on the animals. :confused: yeah same idea as what they test hearing aids on hearing people. that would be interesting. ha

I just learned that they are testing on animals for chocolate very recently. Now i start not to enjoy eating chocolate thinking about it. I dont know if Hersheys are testing on animals too? so far i know it's MARS. I need to research about it.

PETA said Hershey's don't test on animal, unlike Mars and not sure about Nestle.

I know PG (Procter & Gamble) and Johnson Johnson did test on animals.
 
Yeah I did check some of links about Hershey's. I sure hope they don't test on animals because i like the dark chocolate with almonds nuggets.
