Jeremy & I am going to the mall in IL in a couple of weeks with my dad & my brother because they have the Disney store. I plan to have the Disney Babies room for my baby. We are not going to start shopping until we are going to find out the sex of the baby on January 5th. It's hard to find some things like disney stuff for the baby. You guys can suggest us good stores also for baby stuff. I love Old Navy's baby clothes.. they are so cute! Also when should I start buying shoes for the baby?

Thanks! :ily:

Hello.. by the way Congs. On having ur first baby...If u want to get some Disney stuff .. There an catalog which called Disney has alot of stuff for children and babies and I do not know where do u asked for that catalog at.. but check the mall.. and find out.. and there also Jcpenneys which has a book that order stuff for babies room.. check in there for some stuff... I shop at baby gaps and another store there I forgot the name of that store in the mall but they have sooo much Cute thing... I decorated my boys room with bears... Markus my oldest son had brown bears and my little one had winnie the pooh bear...I buy them shoes too.. u can buy them size 0 to 3 months.. U dont have to require to buy shoes sometimes newborns dont wear shoes much just booty or just socks.. but i get both when i have their pictures taken then i get shoes for them.. but if not then i just let them wear booty..Im sure u would wanna spoil ur baby.. psst. I did too

Try FAO Schwartz for cool baby toys...I shopped there a few weeks ago and got a couple of really nice baby toys for wicked cheap! (a cute horsey and a vibrating catapiller)

I don't know if USA has this, but in Australia -- there's this really neat shop called, "Pumpkin Patch" -- all clothes and accessories for all ages of kids from birth to like just before teenager. (age 0 months to 8 - 10 years)
I went shopping there with a mate who has a 2 year old daughter and saw all the clothes there, amazing!

Here's the url to it: Pumpkin Patch

I only have one word, RESEARCH it on the net, type in the goggle baby clothes, and then u ll have HORDES of links to find out what u want and where u want it, u can also narrow it down into the One state so u don't have to keep searching alot :) then just go on to that store i know u would love to FEEL the fabrics and make sure thats what u want for ur baby :)

you could try one store called kids "r" us one of the stores related to toys "r" us...they proably do have good clothes and good prices for babies and stuff like that

Zany Brainy, toysrus(toys, baby furniture, etc),and babiesrus(everything u need.. clothes, toys, etc) A lot of stores sells baby stuff.. so you'd have to look around and see what u like :)

we have disney store, gymboree and i love MACYS for baby stuff they have lots of sale on cute clothes. I think pooh bear, john lennon, carter and other stuff is cute and very popular for babies...... for now you could ask for neutral clothes or toys that is not gender specific...... i recommend babies r us for gift registration for the baby shower

Try Babies-R-Us. It's a nice store. There's also the Disney Store, but it's pretty expensive. I went there once and noticed that they had a DVD for $30 when it was $18 at BestBuy. Like everyone said, do your research. You don't need to focus all of your shopping in one place.

<---Used Wally World and Yard sales for most baby stuff since they're much cheaper than going to the babies r us and expensive baby stores. But I managed to get a good deal on box of 250 diapers at Sam's Club for only 30 bucks!

I'm just a Cheapskate for buying stuff at the Wally World

have you try Baby Gap? i like that store they have nice clothes :)

But is it really necessary to make your baby a fashion victim?

 Banjo hahahahaha

:dunno: but do know that mom tends to go to Babies R Us whenever she has to pick up some baby items for the newest additions to the family for the Christmas holidays and has told me that store is E X P E N S I V E!!! i wasnt at all surprised abt that but ahh

Wildkatress -- have fun shopping for baby items! :D

Mostly I used to be buying baby clothes from wal-mart any kind brands.. Least make baby looking cool.. Don't need buy expensive clothes which baby growing too fast.. don't waste your money expense any cost of clothes.. Find reasonable price which still good brand clothes longer..
I did to my 3 kids.. Since no problem so far.. I gave it away to my friend who got a baby.. My kids are grown big almost near to pre-teen.. (groan)
ehehhehe

I have two boys. You know babies DO grow fast...so just buy few good kind brand of baby clothes such as gap, Disney, etc and other clothes from Target and Wal-Mart...Clothes is just a clothes, at least they have clothes to wear that looks awesome & cute...not just brand label itself. :D

Target has the cutest children's clothing, especially in the girls department. Whenever I go there, I always find myself wishing I had a little girl to dress up!
