What possibly could go wrong here?

Wanders off to do some frantic teeth brushing...

They remind me of movie sequel of "The Dentist". I hate going to Dentist myself too. I've seen some business says "Gentle Dental" or "No Pain Dental"...... that's some BS!

I believe hospital is the only place is able to remove 20 teeth due to better equipment such as anesthesia/sleeping mask/etc.

eek. I'm surprised she had 20 extractions at one sitting...thought most dentists go in phases.

Also reminds me of that poor guy in Indiana who went in to have only 3 teeth removed but the yahoo dentists went and removed every single tooth out of his head. Poor guy...last I read he wound up in the hospital due to infection from the extractions.

*shudder*
I do not like the dentist- anything dental related freaks me out- loose teeth, no teeth...me sitting in the dental chair (I have a huge gag reflex)...

Never had an issue with dentists, Mine is actually painless, even my son likes him ( my son had his 4 upper fronts removed after breaking them off on a metal desk)

My first girlfriend had bad teeth and had all hers pulled in 2 visits, first all her uppers then all her lowers, she was only 20 at the time...wow... brush your teeth people...lol

And floss too and also brush your tongue .

Eh, my mother and husband both have brushed their teeth well all their lives. My mother ate bread and tea for the first 3 or four years of her life and didn't start getting any real nutrition until the US took over the deported persons camp she was born in in Germany. By that time, it was too late. She didn't get the essential nutrition she needed at the start of her life to enable her to have healthy teeth.

My husband has a health condition found in certain members of the population, and it seems to be correlated with shitty teeth.

I spent most of my life without a cavity, only age did me in (just about everyone gets cavities due to age).

Age really has nothing to do with getting cavities. I know a lot people that got cavities in their teens and I know old people that have not gotten a cavity in years and I am old of them.

At my age, cavities aren't the problem; it's receding gums and dry mouth. Also, for older people, some of their childhood fillings need replacing.

Me too , I am getting dry mouth and receding gums , my dad lost some teeth this way . He did not get any cavities as an old man . I had to have my childhood filling removed b/c the dentist I went to as a child did a half ass job filling my cavities and I think he gave me filling when I did not need any b/c I tooth was not hurting me .

I went to a shit hole dentist ( due to bad insurance through work years ago) they ground out 2 of my teeth and filled and there was nothing wrong with them, I was finally able to go back to my dentist and he was like "What the hell did this place do?" I wanted to sue the shit hole place but my dentist said it would be next to impossible due the the so called protection they are under????

I went a dentist and they had a sign up in the waiting room that said all their equipment are clean . My turn came and I sat down and the woman that was going to cleaning my teeth put on rubble gloves then start looking
at my x ray on the computer and I could see the spit from other people all over the mouse . The woman then picked up a pen ,then open a cabinet and came over to me with the gloves on . I told her I wanted her to put clean gloves on. There was no way in hell I was going to let her put those dirty gloves in my mouth. She touch jut about everything in the room . GROSS ! I never went back there .

If you have dry mouth, go buy some Biotene. It comes in mouthwasy, spray, gel, and two other forms I can't remember. It does wonders to re-water ;-) your mouth.

I've tried that but it doesn't really do a lot for me.
