What other cities can learn from Atlanta's ice debacle

Just saw on the News....my City was well prepared for the icy roads....we have many, many bridges...and no accidents (so far)....

I'm not sure about how bad is icy road in your city, but we have combined of snow and ice, and snow is around nearly 3 inch so pretty paralyzed those cities like they did during 1993 blizzard.

We don't have snowplow and salt trucks, and Atlanta does have one, but not a lot.

We had icy only road before and it wasn't bad, but add snows make worse.
 
I think about want buy chains for tires so need use for emergency only, especially during snowy and icy road.
