Do you own TV so what is brand and model?

Mine is Sony and model is KDL40W600B.

I had Vizio that I got in 2011 but broke in last Jan 2016.
 
Panasonic Vizio- got it I'm thinking 6 or 7 years ago?? Parents just got a new Sony. We're still trying to get the Time Warner captioning to work as the "analog"/standard size is ridiculously small and difficult to see. TW's digital captions are awesome- nice and bright on my aunt's tv, still small but the large font size works. My tv it's a pale yellow lol (It works on the DTA for some reason just not on our main cable box... :confused: )

TCL Roku tv. It's my first smart tv and I really like it.

Oh interesting, I use DirecTV and they do have custom CC, especially HD receivers/DVR. I have complaint - closed captioning disappear too fast if I pause the show to give more to read the captioning.

I know TiVo that where you can pause the show with CC.
