Can you please give us an English definition and some images of "Bauertrampel"? I searched the web Dogpile and I can't find any English references or pictures. Maybe you have a website for "You know you are a Bauertrampel", like Americans have "You know you are a Redneck"? 
The literal translation that I found was "farmer trample", so I'm thinking it means someone rural and oafish. But there's probably more to it than that.
