Hearing people label southern people are redneck. Cowboy and farmer, they like to drink the beer or whiskey all the day. They are hermit (dislike to socialize with other people). Hardly to get friendly with new people. They prefer to stay together for many years; they trust them as gossip daily. They know everything about their life in the town.
It is very old traditional people called them "redneck". Consider as bum, lazy, gossip and hermit people. I know, it is kind of offended but New England people called Southern people are redneck.
Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Okalahoma, Arkansas and Tennessee are redneck. I do not know why hearing people label them, "redneck"
Southern people dislike, we call them redneck as insult. Just like black people as "nergo". It is very insult for the black people.
I visitied Tennessee, they are very friendly and very strong in faith with god. They like to eat alot of fatty food like pork chop, rib with BBQ, biscuts, gravy and mashed potatoe. Not like in New England. Their culture are very different than Northern. It is interesting. I have seen them wear cowbow hat, boots and clothes. They dance country with other cowboy and cowgirl. It is very fascinated to see their culture in Tennesee.
