In september there is always have a special week or two for deaf awareness week in SEPTEMBER. Check out at your area deaf service and club will give you the information about it.

Hey i Can Google it but i Want to Know Personally from you Guys that have Joined Deaf Culture Since i am new to DC.

I do nothing, mostly because I teach people year round and in my town is the deaf school for the state so my town already knows a bit, but if I go a town over people know nothing.
