I use Thunderbird on Linux and Windows for years! I love Thunderbird!!!

hotmail/live/outlook. When they tied it to Outlook, it became almost useless. I use Chrome. That addy has been mine for so long, I can't easily change it now. I just discovered that it works better with IE, so I am using IE for e-mail, and Chrome for everything else. :thumbd:

Gmail is not program. It's website.

For email program, you can check old message without internet needs.

So I use thunderbird and Apple mail for gmail account.

He's right. Basically, they called it "browser-based" email which you can open email via IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc... which isn't really considered email program itself. Unless OP would add "browser-based" email for anyone with Gmail, Hotmail, etc...

I have both Google's g-mail and a Yahoo account.

I like Yahoo Mail better because it has unlimited storage and is easier for me to use.

Sometimes using Windows Live Mail especially when I use their Photo Gallery to share pictures with friends or family from my computer.

But in reality I just use my ipad or iphone or Nook for email. (Yes I use Nook for email when I just want to focus on catching up email or newsletter without interruptions or temptation to play games, take pictures, or FB LoL) or even just to stay focus reading e-book :-D

Had used IncrediMail years ago but notice and heard about causing problems with computer. So I never bother using it again and rarely use email program.

Hear that Thunderbird has been discontinues on development.

Me? I don't use email program anymore. The last time I use Mail.

Mail app that comes with Mac OS X. Also, gmail app on my phone when I'm not checking mail on the Mail app.

Gmail is a serverside application. Although you use a web browser to access it it is still a program.
