what does this sign mean?

Hi! I have a question. When I was really little I learned this sign and I can't remember what it means. I'm pretty sure it's ASL, although I don't remember if it matters what hand you use, anyway, here it is:

You make the letter T and then go from your nose to your chin.

If ANYBODY even has any idea close to what that might mean, could you let me know, I'd really like to know.

I don't know the specific sign, but the closest resemblance is "patience"... you make an "A" and move it downward on the chin. It looks like it's reaching the nose because of the thumb, but it's not.

You can make this sign and mean either of these sentences:
"Be patient."
"Have patience."

You have an amazing memory to even remember the sign without knowing ASL, Max.

It sounds like tolate? Liza is correct if it is A, patience. T ??? :dunno2:
 
Ha ha ha, turkey in signed English is from chin to chest.
Tolerance in signed English would be what Max described, though I would sign it with "A" instead.
