I feel the state needs to more to help students that have learning disability . It's very easy to dismissed a student as being 'lazy' when in reality that student could be
hard of hearing , deaf , or just need reading glasses. They could have other unseen disability , like being dyslexia . Before a student is written off as being lazy or a poor student
the school should have child tested. I have a teacher to thanks for keeping me after school and giving me a hearing test. I got my first hearing aid when I was almost eight years old .
I used a forum for deaf and hoh people and kids are still getting the help they need in school and this is so wrong. The state needs to spend more money so every
child get a fair education , it'll be cheaper in the long run. Parents can request the city to pay for their child to go to another school if they feel their local school is not doing enough
for their child that a LD
