I think so not good too much cellphone? I concerned about to cellphone is not good. Well I don't like stranger people want to say come on, not good safe. I know I heard that serious law. I disagree to cellphone in School is serious. Teacher complain to student really concerned about to problem in cellphone.


I don't understand what is means different other people? I guesss I don't understand what is means they told you know warning to people. I am not sure make confused. I bit complex on cellphone is risk. You know youth is not allowed cellphone is freee. I thought worlds is lots of people have cellphone?:ugh3:
 
Sidekick is best cellphone out there right now. We can't live without them or we will live in dark.
 
Well, my hubby, soon to be 14 years old son and I neglect our mobile phones more and more to depend on phone all the time because it cost us nothing.

We use it very rarely and also emergency as well.
 
I spend so much time away from home that I keep a cell phone and don't have a land line phone. (Bad for TTY but never home to use one anyways). I use text messages and I can use voice so will use relay for those friends who don't have text technology.
 
I have a cellphone but I mainly use it for text ( or single) messaging. I believe a cellphone could be pretty helpful at times .
 
I do know that cell phones are not safe while driving, people intend to use it for personal affairs or business, and it can lead to an accidents on the roads or highway, because they're not even paying attention what's in front, back, and around them. It only puts the driver, passengers, other vehicles, and pedestrians in danger. I think it's fine to use the cell phone when pulled off the roads to call someone in case of emergency or road hazards conditions, but not during driving, you are in the vehicle for a reason to drive, not to talk or looking at yourself in the mirror putting make-up on, brushing your hair, etc. ;)

That is not safe. I agree you right that is not safe. I told warning, I concern about to cell phone. I scared. I think so not good. DOn't fun text email possible false email to mobile. That is fear..............


Parents only responsibility watch you.

What do you mean it's not safe for teenagers to have cellular phones? I do believe it is safe for them in case of emergency they need to contract their parents for a ride, or let them know where they're at, or what time they'll be home. my son who's 12 will be 13 in January has a cellular phone and he text messaged me whenever he needs a ride or needs anything else. ;)

I'm talking about using cellular phones while driving, which is not safe. Hope this clears up the misunderstanding. :)

I agree with you its good for the kids to have a cellphone these days, in case emergancy they can contact parents and family. I know my neice has a cell phone she' s only 11 years old. Of course, she only uses it for calling her parents, grandpa and grandma.

Don't you have pre pay program for cell phones in Germany? it's a lot cheaper, my oldest son has cell phone we use the pre-pay methods, he pays his own phone service most of the time.


I already taught my oldest not to use his cell phone while driving and he knows I'm so against those who drives while talking on their cell phones . I prefer my children to have cell phone when they're 15, but some prefer to give their children when they're under 15, I respect their decision as a parents.
 
I cannot afford buy cellular

Why I could buy new affording for cellular, I love fun text message. I want to wish be email to you . I hope free deaf with only text message. I am sad and no fun exciting . my mom and dad say you are your job. I am not inspirt. I am hurt to feeling crying lots of really not love with family. I don't know see my dad temper very rude. That is stupid. I think so possible not nice really and won't love me. I don't understand why happened. I didn't understand feeling my depression.... He said go away, he pissed off to me. HE speak mummble to talk to Travis. I don't understand. I hate my dad. I think so very not good. THat is relationship low my dad. I am disappointment.:rifle:

I'm sorry you have so much trouble with your dad. I know you say there is not much love with your family, but I hope someone in your family helps you. Everyone needs love and help with life - deaf, HoH, or hearing. Also I hope you got a new social worker and found some friends in Saskatchewan. Are you feeling better with less headaches? I hope this also - see, lots of hope for you. Maybe 2008 is a great year for Travis. :hug:
 
I have an old tech mobile, only use it for text, no cameras, no mp3, no gimicks, not interested to play txting, only use it for emergency.
Later on, when mine dies out, I'd get a USB(2) capable, bluetooth, a camera for security like if someones got a vicious dog , bad drivers, so I'd happily report them.

I do know that cell phones aren't safe in deaf social in person. That make people tick off on you and beat up on ya. :)

Where did you hear this from? My hearing sis talk on her cell phone in front of my deaf friends, I didn't see any of them getting upset or beaten her up for that. :ugh:

My parents have said that they would add me a phone to their plan for $10 month extra, but I would have to come up with the phone. I want a black jack but just to buy one that is unlocked would cost me more than a week's pay!

I want a phone where I am able to text when I am unable to hear the person on the otherside. I know general texting is expensive, but I would only use it as necessary.

How much does an unlocked SK cost?
 
I bought a cell phone at Walmart that works with Virgin mobile called "Wild Card" it has a keyboard built in and it is pay as you go. No contract. Don't have to pay voice plan to use it.. I am paying 20 dollars a month for unlmited text messaging on it. Just go to Walmart and buy a top up card and put in phone and use it as you go. The phone cost 99 dollars. They do have cheaper versions of phones but this one has keyboard so that's why I got this one. It also has a camera on it. I am liking it alot.

Even tho it has no voice plan on it. It can be used as cell phone but it's expensive since it has no plans on it.
