I totally understand that some of you had horrible interactions with hearing people, I'm finding that out myself.  But not all hearing people are like that.  I was actually a pretty good, caring hearing person before I went deaf.  When I lost my hearing I had no clue what to do, where to turn etc.  Never saw an audiologist before, no hearing tests and the doctors had no clue as to why I lost my hearing. No situation is perfect but if I could have had a few months warning that I was going to lose my hearing I could have prepared myself better.
