He sold the other boat.
We bought one in Missouri. Traded that in for another. Brought the 2nd to Florida then he sold it to an ex-coworker who moved to Missouri. We currently do not have a boat. He wants to get one since he misses having them around.
Now, the appliances are figured into the price of the full build. The total price including all the little things is somewhere between $80-$84,000. We will have close to $100,000 after all is said an done. We will use part of the extra to go into an account for property taxes and incidentals, then we will use part to buy some furniture that is needed. After that, there will be some available that MIL will not let us use for anything except the house. I'm not sure how hubby plans this, and quite frankly, I don't want to know as long as I get the necessary and required things. The account for the construction money is going to be 2 signatures required so he will have to let me know what's going on.
All in all, we do have financial difficulties and I am trying to cut things here and there. We will be able to make mtg payments with no problem. I just don't want hubby wasting the money on constantly going out to eat, so I tell him we have nothing. I am working on building a savings on the sly so he doesn't try to empty it. He knows I am doing it and I am open with the info, but he can't get to it and he doesn't know how much I have. The account is joint between son and myself.
