I switched from Marlboro's to these. They were really hard to find when I first started smoking them...I had to go to a tobacco shop to find them. Now, even Walgreen's stocks them!
The nicotine thing is the reason I was able to cut back so far. Commercial brands have a chemical that causes the nicotine to leave your system more quickly. American Spirit doesn't. The nicotine stays in your system longer so you don't crave another cig as often.
