We, at my church, have a few CART typists and would like to setup
CART (and Typewell). What equipments (hardwares and softwares)
would we need? And what equipments do you recommend or avoid?
We do have wireless internet and eventually would like to webstream.
I.e., what is the ideal setup?

p.s. Previous CART threads discusses CART features, etc, not anything
about equipments (at least I didn't see any).

Well for starters, they are CART writers not typists. If the people that you have are true CART writers, meaning that they are stenographers, they should already have their own computers with their own translation software on it. The only thing you would need at the church would be a projector to connect to their lap top and a screen to project the captions onto. The CART writers should know how to do this or be able to find out on their own. You may even be able to find a CART provider that has a projector that you can borrow on the days you need it.

As for the wireless web stream, your CART provider should be able to help you set that up from their computer. The equipment you need will be dictated by what the provider uses. It is all specific to what software they use on their computer.

I hope this helps!!
