What are some of your personal accomplishments you're proud of?

Saving a dog's life - pulled him out of water even though I'm deadly afraid of water (lake being this case) :(

Proud of being the first person in both sides of family to get a full scholarship for college sport at a major university.

Proud to be the first person in both sides of family to get a Master's.

Now, my biggest accomplishment are my marriage and children.

Proud to be the first one in my family and school to go on exchange program through the Rotary

Proud to graduate from a prominent University with a Bachelor's

Proud that I've traveled several times.

Proud that I have a beautiful big Ragdoll.

Accomplishments Im happy about include some in many different sports. Bowling, Soccer, Baseball, and Softball.

Im satisfied with my dilligence and effort with education throughout my life.

One Accomplishment I would sure like to achieve is to get a hole in one at golfing one day.

My father got a HIO on his 15th hole in golfing. Crazy stuff -- I was there to see it

Another genealogy buff. Are you on ancestry.com Karissa? I was but I let my subscription lapse. Too many things going on! I hope to get back to it soon. I found some photos that some people uploaded, and I was really excited to have more photos.

It is nice to see another genealogist, Sally. :D

No, I don't trust online websites for the family history. Same with my grandpa and another family members. Few famous people in my bloodline family that we don't mind to share/discuss some information since many, today, people know them.

Being genealogist (sp?). I really enjoy to learn each new information about my families. Sometimes I do help my grandfather and another family members. :)

It is amazing what you can find out about your family when you start to trace it. I googled my grandfather's name just for fun once, and found a part of our family that everyone had lost contact with for 40 years or more. We have been emailing ever since.

Yes, I found a long lost cousin. Weird how families lose touch sometimes.

Ancestry has original records like census reports, birth certificates, death information, draft/military records, etc. I've found some information on the internet that has been posted by counties around the country. There are websites that contain grave information. You can find old news paper obits and wedding announcements. I'm grateful to the people who are adding this information on the internet. I can't go around traveling from county to county.

Ass? What league was that in? Over here we kick soccer balls in soccer.

On occassion a player may miss the soccer ball and instead kick an unfortunate kid's ass in front who was in the way. This is true when things get scrappy.

Yes, I'm sure I have heard of that link. I have some friends experienced it too. Internet could be helpful tool to find some more information and accurate articles, records, and etc.

I think my grandfather have a family tree maker progarm for the computer. That is for not required the connection to the internet. It's really useful tool for seeking some information and articles, and go on. It's better to interview with elders in your family before they could be gone anytime. I used to have it until it recurrently expired so I need a new progarm for the family tree.

Personally, I feel don't comfortable to post an information on the internet. Some people can steal and sell for the general stories, making movies, or books...

It's best chance to protect family history is papers, dairy books, homemake books, and folders. That is where you can prove it is actual information. :)

Jillio - Ooh, that's so great! It's really nice to see them met again. :D

I once knocked a guy into the dunk tank at the Renaissance Faire. Pretty awesome stuff.

I've won several art contests in middle school. I got money as prizes but my dad took all my money and never gave me back my money. I still want that money back, I still have not seen this money back to this day. It was a lot of money to me back then as a teenager...I won $50 second prize one contest and the other contest I won $100 first prize. Each time I was handed the prize money he took it away from me immediately. I assume he spent it on his bitch wife instead of encouraging me to put it in my own savings account or something. I deserved that money. I worked hard on my artwork.

What a way for a dad to be an asshole to his daughter... :mad2:

Raced round the world on a yacht against prevailing winds and currents aka the wrong way. 12 boats in the fleet, 250 crews, 1 deaf and one of the youngest came 3rd overall -2000/01

Last week, my 4 school kids that I supported as L.S.A (all deaf) got distiction for their english speaking board exam and I was well chuffed with them, they had spoken about their topic, read aloud a chapter, read aloud a poem in front of panel of judges.

pwn3d a guy over the word "pwn3d." Not much of an accomplishment but it was certainly funny, everybody laughed on that one.
