Very cool video. I loved the CC. This video really hit me because I faced those challenges so much in school. The college I was attending acted like they were deaf/hoh friendly but that wasnt true for me. I am VERY hoh, and do not know ASL. I was "offered" a note taker, but in the two weeks of class I never received any notes. I notified the school, they said they could offer me an interpreter but not knowing ASL that didnt help any. 3 classes had quiz's 4 days in to class (all 3 classes were lecture), so come quiz time I was like".............". Needless to say because of their refusal to help me since I didnt know ASL, I had to drop out.

i found out you can't really depend on hearing college to accomodate you. notetaking and neckloop was all they offered me at the time. It was a joke.

So much for "learning"
 
Nice video. I really enjoyed the ending.
 
It really was a nice video and as TWA said, I loved the ending. I was surprised at the irresponsibility of the note takers. The one that fell asleep just baffled me...I would've poked him awake.

:lol: Yes. It was to show that I like girls as well but in a more "delicate" manner. I took that picture last year. Instead of my tongue out, I delivered a kiss :Oops:

I could identify with the young man who was entirely oral, and I feel sorry for him because no doubt he will hit a wall. I hope he wises up.

I can relate to so much with the people in the video. Hearing people need to stop and really look around.
