I would pretty much say, depending on what kind of work you are doing. The details of your work that you gave are too vague, I'm sure you know one person's job may be different from another's.

Here are some caloric burning values by exercise and weight, in 1 hour. Most of the time, it is not accurate to the point of perfection as everyone's metabolism, weight, physical structure are different.

But you can use them to a base number to guess off of.

Calories Burned During Exercise

Calories Burned During Physical Activity

Here are some randomly selected values out of it.

Quietly standing in line 100 calories per hour
Reading, Watching TV, Sitting (some brain activity) 75 calories per hour
Arguing on the phone or with neighbor (standing, swinging arms) 105 calories per hour

when im at work i get stand and get exercise little not lots when im around in stores its would be good for me.

mostly people who getting exercise at works often and home whatevers at gym but i know elders people usually walk lots at mall its would be good for elders people.

elder people always walk lots at mall in my hometown before mall open hours 8am till 9pm morning and afternoon mostly people can walk at mall after work or not.

If your on the line at a chicken plant your probably not burning that many calories, but if your'e one of the service people or on the floor a lot doing A LOT of walking then youve got yourself an 8 hour work out.

I know when I did the floor a lot at PJP before they closed I lost close to 10 pounds about 2 weeks. It was nuts. I was constantly walking somewhere, bending over, picking stuff up off the floor, lifting heavy objects, then did my spray down. By the end of the day I was physically exhausted to the point that all I wanted to do was sleep. And I consider myself a fairly active person.

I lost weight last summer due to an injury. I am single , didn't at all had to wait til the weekend so, one of my parents come and help me out. I am well now, decided to maintain the weight with exercise and eating less. I need to becareful with my workouts due ot my sciatica. I am doing good, dropped 4 pants sizes and still losing weight :)
