Take my advice do not buy ghost recon because most of them are hear to enemies. When I start play then few mins later they shoot me cuz I cant hear "shot gun" or "machine gun" or whatever I cant hear it... so take my advice do not buy ghost recon for xbox. I feeling suck I bought it for 45 dollar and waste my money...

Did you know that you should be able to take it back. Some stores are flexible enough to understand your hearing impairedness to let you exchange it for a different game. Two of my friends did that. One of them bought the Hercules Season 1 DVD Set. It turned out to not be closed captioned or subtitled so he took it back and exchanged it for a different title. My other friend bought a game and it turned out that 75% of the game required listening skills which my friend didn't have, so he took it back and they allowed him to exchange it for a different game. Both incidents occured at two different stores: Best Buy and Walmart (I think).

Eh? What do you mean by that? Christo was talking about the game itself... without subtitles/captions. There's another game with the same problem... I think it's Silent Hill. You're expected to have two speakers, one on each side. Each speaker represents each of your character's ears. If there's a creature approaching or sound coming from somewhere, it will play that sound based on where your character's ears are. Helps you know where things are. It's nice to have that feature cuz it makes the game more realistic, but unfortunately, it's no good for us deaf video gamers. Grr!

Christo..did u turn on the VIBRATION on the xbox controller?

I keep vibration enabled on all my xbox games when I play 'em.

I know it suxs when there games requiring listening skills without visual cues to what is going on :P

Edit: Ubi Soft Montreal (developers of the Tom Clancy games) NEVER subtitles their games in the cutscenes. I was thinking about picking up XIII from 'em but I doubt it I would buy it unless I checked the manual for subtitles.
