Warehouse in deadly oakland fire hadn't been inspected in 30 years

It's Oakland, the ghetto city. What do you expect from that? There is something wrong with the local government and that guy who was responsible for the party. The people who bought the commercial buildings are required by the law to notify the local government and the fire department. I've worked in galleries in California. California is full of cheap old commercial buildings always hold parties. For instance, if we plan to hold a reception or party at a gallery (commercial building), we are required by the law to notify the fire department about our plans with receptions and how many people will show up at the gallery They will send fire marshal from the fire department to inspect the gallery building to make sure everything's right before he gives the approval and signs the paper, so we are allowed to hold the reception.
