I may get flack for this... but kinda wondering... and please read this in full before lighting a torch 
The first paragraph, maybe half of second, I kind of agree with.
Pointing out and making exceptions for one group, be it based on sex, age, religion, race, and the like; does this not create inequality even a it attempts to combat it?
