I am going to be going deaf in a couple of weeks due to another surgery. I am already deaf on the right side and when I have the tumor removed on the left side I will be totally deaf. I have a PABI installed on the right side but it is experimental and it is hard to figure out what people are saying in a perfectly quiet room much less if there is any additional noise. I am getting everything prepared before the surgery to ease the transition. I am planning on gettting an HTC Mogul smartphone from the sprint relay store. The features and specs on this device seem to be great, and I really like the way this phone works and feels. Is there any good software that will run on windows mobile 6 that would allow me to hold the phone near the person speaking and then look at the screen and read what they said?
