A documentary responding to the violence against women with a focus on the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing. Every 2 minutes a woman is sexually assaulted. Due to lack of communication, the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing are 150% more times more likely to become victims of abuse, bullying and violence.
The attendees are Deaf women of Austin Texas and Deaf survivors from SafePlace –a home to survivors of domestic abuse. They have been provided with a Women Empowered training DVD sponsored by the Gracie Family. If you attended the seminar and need access to continued training, contact Malibu Barron.
