The urban is still not safe haven for gay people and I don't wear pro-gay shirt in DC, despite about gay marriage is legal and the ER visit is very expensive. It will take YEARS for more Americans to tolerate with gay people and I believe that most assault cases are from teenagers due to lack of understanding about different cultures. I met some gay people in here and told me that city of Birmingham is safe place for gay people live in so I told them about don't underestimate this city because they can be assaulted by stupid thugs. I feel that live in affluent suburb or city district with lowest crime, especially Laguna Beach is safest place for gay people, also get well known with communities are important.

There is other case about assault on gay person in NYC.
