Hi, I am on the market for a vibrating wrist watch which is easier to carry around during travels and such. I have read enough about the available products to convince me that none is worth it.
I am a heavy sleepers and most wrist watches only vibrate for 10-20 seconds with one or two possible alarms. Others also have a weak vibration that most people are claiming to sleep through.

Does anyone have experience with this? Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Rick

Hack your watch and cut off weakling motor and add tiny relay and rig it to high capacity 12vdc tyco battery and high speed motor (Order it from Serious Radio Controlled hobbyist magazine) with centerfug strapped on your wrist with velco wrist strap next to watch. Betcha your arm will be tingling and numb after powerful vibration. Thus turning it to Extreme vibrating wrist watch. (Tim Allen's way Arr Arr)

Can be done if you're expert with Electronics

This should wake up heavy sleeper big time!! :eek2:

:giggle:

Catty,
Electronics expertise aside, how do you package the battery, motor, and everything in a wrist watch (or something similar in that case)? :)

:rofl2: like I mentioned above post,

It means that the Velcro Strap taped or sewed with high capacity battery and Tyco R/C motor with Centerfug and couple of wire to your hacked vibrating watch. So you don't need to pack everything in a watch.

Your wrist will go numb and tingly once it runs for few min. :rofl2:

I'm just

no good for vibrating wrist watch becuase if run vibrating then will loss battery, if strong vibrating will big loss battery, I mean clock with battery without vibrating about 3 to 5 years, if with vibrating maybe 10 days or 1 month dead battery and replace battery cost $5-10 per small battery like haring aids' size battery becuase many blackberry, Sidesick, any pager is big battery box than wrist watch
