I'm sorry that your father isn't feeling well. I thank him for his career of military service.Thank to all veterans, including my father, Reba, TCS and my ex-classmates for serving in the military.
Of course, I graduated from hearing school, not deaf school so all of my classmates were hearing.
I haven't went to military parade since 1992, that was long time, also I encouraged my father to do it but he told me that he wasn't feel good.

I was in the U.S. Army 1959-1970 and served as a small-arms instructor in California with 298th Military Police, in Germany with the 404th Military Police, in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne, and a second tour in Vietnam with the 173 Airborne Brigade. Ancient history .

I went to 2 grocery stores planning of giving a veteran some money but there was no one there.
