Bleh. It's going to fall someday. Were the owners aware of cliff erosion?

This is a concept house and it showing what could be a house of the future.
I guess an earthquake would be bad news too. I think it might make want some people want to pee more often listening to the ocean all the time. :giggle:

It was a boring video.

But one thing I do find cool about the roof-top deck is that it has a cover, so you could still sit outside in the rain.

Living there, would one have to get a fishing license? :P

Where did I say that? I didn't. Don't put words into my mouth, thank you very much.

The video showed the same picture over and over and over and over and over and over. Enough said.

I only watch a little bit of the video , and did not realize that . Welcome to the club , people are trying to put words into my mouth here.

Maybe you should've watched the whole video before commenting on my post then. No need to jump down my throat.

Sorry if people are putting words into your mouth, you don't need to turn right around and do it to me. Jeez.

that would take many many years for cliff erosion to happen

The house will fall anyway. It's inevitable. I'm not familiar with the wild weather down under. I'm sure it's unpredictable. I've seen many houses crumbled along California coast. It still happens.

This summer, the expensive house in Texas nearly split up in half and it fell down the cliff to the lake.

I will never build a house on the cliff. No way. If you're a billionaire, you probably won't care and it's just another house. Ha!

Yeah, just like that horseshoe-shaped thing Uncle Sam had installed at the Grand Canyon, eh? What do you think?..........I say 984 years,

that's coastal erosion. it's not made out of solid rock. and the terrain at California and west coast area is malleable. very easily prone to erosion. cliff? mountain? nope.

the house in video is from Australia. and looking at the cliff... it's solid rock... cliff erosion takes hundreds, if not thousands, of years to erode away.

if he's a billionaire.... he's most likely not that stupid. I'm sure he's hired a team of experts and it met his satisfaction.

As long as you were not in the house when it fell. I would never have a house near the ocean. Six houses where lost from storms washing the land which was all sand.

there's a huge difference between building a home on beach and cliff....

I know that, but what I mean is I'm concerned about the house itself. The house is in Victoria, Australia. I think Victoria has long nasty history of cyclone. Can the house handle cyclone winds? Are those windows enough strong to handle those winds?

Oh and one thing, you have to take care of salt corrosion issue. The saltwater in the air does nasty thing to metal. It's such a hassle. Since it is a glass house, it should be okay. I have no idea if they use metal bars to build the house or not.

If you look closely you can see a fissure in front of the car, it travels down and cuts towards the house on a diagnal, yeah, its going to do a Wile E. Coyote job real soon...lmao

Bet it was built by ACME as well?
