I will be in Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas during Easter weekend to visiting with my son. :) Not familiar with Deaf Events in that area.

Ohh, Arlington, TX?! My old hometown!! :D I was born there heh! I miss it down there even tho there has been such of a huge change down there! :)

yes, it's huge change because of new football stadium have affect to change new water system and highway with turnpike/ramp.

there is big deaf social in downtown Dallas on that weekend at deaf associate

there is Mesquite in far east of Dallas area, there have huge deaf social at starbucks next to the mall on Friday night and there also Deaf Happy Hour, but no info where location will be at at moment.

Oh yea? oh gee. I left Texas in 1990, I think to move up to Wisconsin with my family. I came back 12 years later in 2002, I think, with the family and I didn't really recongize much of anything except for a church building I used to go to, an apt complex and a house or two that we used to live in. There was even one house that my parents thought we lived in, but I kept on telling them that they were wrong... lol I remembered how the house used to look like back then and I was right haha. I didn't even realize they had a stadium and all that changes. Thanks! :)

And to Phillips, I hope you would enjoy your time down in Texas! :)
 
im not familiar with deaf social or whatevers

because im went Texas many times visit my Aunt and my cousin who lives in Center,Texas for longtimes till my Aunt got divorces they moves to Arkansas for years till my Aunt got remarried.

and also i visit my grandfather boyce before he passes away who lives in Waco,Texas where my dad was born there but i went that city its very nice city.

but its would be enough for me going Texas on vacation!!!! and i dont going Texas for deaf social that my vows!
 
I will go on VACATION in September, this year to my second hometown in Dallas/Ft Worth to visit my old friends there.

I haven't see my deaf cousin in person .. about 8 years ago.. we do chat on vp often!:cool2:

oh really

im been gone Texas many times when im grew-up and i wont going for deaf social and lots of mores.But i wont go back Texas for vacation

but you can meet me as friends if you want to?
 
Being Ex-Texan darn miss the times down in Houston area, I go there once a while when I can :)
