I recently went to an audiologist. When it came time for the close, the salesman was really rude and pushy. I left an appropriate Yelp review and the next day the owner called to apologize and offered me the Linx2 761 for 1/2 off the $6600 pair price they had quoted. Screaming deal, right? BUT today I went to Costco and looked at their Signature 6 for $1700 a pair and their Phonak Brio R312T for $2800 a pair. I'm so confused. Since the manufacturers never give you a straight up spec sheet it's impossible to compare apples to apples. And half off is still $500 more than the Phonak. From the very limited testing I was able to do in the stores, I would say the Phonak and the Linx are comparable, but really hard to tell. Help! What should I do???
