Hello ADers,

I know I've left some of you wondering where the heck I've been lately. Well, it's just that I've working OT and spending quality time with my girlfriend and family. Of course, I haven't forgotten about y'all. As a matter of fact, I come in here everyday to make sure AD is in good form, then go offline to t'care of business. I know many of you are out for the summer as well, enjoying life to the fullest while you still can, something the loyal DMers will never understand since they got nothing better to do in their lives.

Anyway, I've got some great news I wanted to share with y'all. First off, I want to thank all those that donated to the AD Fund. Your support meant a lot to me, and there's enough dough to get a better dedicated server that AD can run on. It'll be a lot better than the current server we're on now, and for that reason, avatars/file attachments will be increased, page load and overall performance will be a lot faster and smoother. I'm thinking of a P4 HT or Dual Xeon 2.0 dedicated server. ;)

Also, I'm proud to have a new sponsor for our site -- Hear More -- a highly recommended company offering products for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing. So, why don't y'all pay them a visit and check their products and service out.

Good onya, Alex! Great news to hear about getting a better dedicated server for AD! It'll make things go smoother and be better. :)

As for summer....*ahem* I'm not in summer here! It's right in the middle of winter! You've forgotten you have a few people from the southern hemisphere who don't have the same season as the northern hemisphere does! :P
All in all, could all of you in the Northern summer time please DO send me some heat! It's bloody FREEZING here! :rofl:

Working a lot. Swimming a lot. Sleeping less. UnfortatelyI wish I could spend some more time online, I know for a fact when I get back to NY, I'll worship my computer and spend some more time on my computer! :D
