Hi everyone. Well Rhyanne is now 14 months and is signing approx 8 -10 words and is saying 2 full words and the other words are just sounds like mo for more..ma for mom ba for ball or baby or book...So she is trying. We have had 2 weeks with DRM now and absolutely love it. I think the both of us will gain a lot from her as will my older daughter and other family members like my dad and sister. My family is very supportive and wants to learn with us so its great. At her last hearing test it looked as if her hearing went from moderate to moderate/severe. She is being tested again at the end of April just for confirmation since she was not being very cooperative. We are having trouble with keeping our hearing aids on now. She doesn't want to wear them at all anymore. We do have our VP set up now so we are taking the steps. ASL 2 is going well for me a little harder then 1 but I am sure I will get it. Having the DRM I am hoping will make my signing faster and better.
Anyways I think I have covered everything. Hope everyone is doing well.
