That's misinformation, unemployment is increase because economy has been decline in last year, during Bush admin and stimulus don't magically fix the unemployment and just need take more time for businesses to grow so hey can hire more employees.

Really, unemployment is on the rise everywhere. Nothing new.

The constant beating of the drums on Obama (and Harper) is seriously making me want to disconnect from anything related to electronics. No one want an unstable government, but the domestic dissent is buckling the system. Luckily, I am already planning on such (leaving the cyberworld that is.)

No, Clinton admin has very little influence on late 2000's recession so most of economy decline has started during Bush admin, just 8 years later after Clinton got out of office so only your comment is refer as early 2000's recession.

Um, clearly you haven't realized that $173 billion has been paid out since March according to Recovery.gov. That's 8 months. That's about $550 per person in the United States or $68 each month per person or $17 bucks a week per person.

On page 5, without the stimulus they said it'd be a little over 9%. It's already over 9%...with the stimulus!
