Unarmed gun owner treated like a criminal

Oh wow, police's search went beyond and extreme, so I think officer should got fired for make unreasonable search.

I believe it is isolated situation and my friend lives in Maryland, with Alabama tag for his car and there is no issue with him.

I still feel there is something fishy about the unmarked car while the police cars are marked cars. I wish that Mr. Jackson should have gone to the police station first and then if the unmarked car is going along with him there, then there would be ways of solving the questions about his gun that was left at home. Why would the person from the unmarked car asked question about his gun if there were family in the car? That is sick to me. Disgusting. :(

That's how Florida works, if you have out of state plates be prepared to be pulled over. They do it because you're less likely to go to court and dispute it. The search though, that was WAY over the top. Here in Florida we have TONS of unmarked cars.

Wow, that's overkill!

That's good that it's reported all over internet and next will be on TV news to give those cops a bad name so that way more people will look down on them.

Ninety minutes later, or maybe it was two hours — “It felt like forever,” Kally says — no weapon found and their possessions repacked, the episode ended ... with the officer writing out a warning.
What kind of warning? *SMH*
