Aww... I'm sorry to hear that. Next time don't leave any clothes at a laundry place unattend. 
When I was living by myself, and I did laundry at this public place and I have never left my clothes unattend, because I don't trust these people around me. 
NOW, I live in my own house and have my own washer and dryer! SO MUCH EASIER!!!
