If dropping CBS channels, use Aereo or own antenna. I never seen Aereo before.

https://aereo.com/ Can watch local channels online. No cable required. They are available in few cities now. More cities will be coming. Aereo does support Closed Captioning! To use it, be sure to enable Closed Captioning on your device.

I watched on my TV. CBS channel has been blocked by Time Warner cable company in Los Angeles. But, Digital TV device did not block CBS channel.

Really! What are you doing now? Use own antenna?

I have digital TV device. It sit and dust in my storage.

We have TW. We got the email notification about CBS. I just checked our TV, and CBS is still on. I guess it hasn't taken affect yet.

Update: Just checked my email. We aren't one of the cities included in the blackout.

I just found "Under The Dome" on TV show torrent then already download it on my MacBook Pro and added .SRT (subtitle). I will watch it on HDTV by AirPlay mirroring on my Apple TV. I m happy! TWC and CBS shit!

Here is an update on the Aereo lawsuit. If this goes through, the major networks could go off the air altogether. However, you would still be able to see those networks through your provider or some subscription service.

Aereo signals cloudy future for broadcast TV | ZDNet

And now, ABC forces people to have a cable subscription to see shows because the conspire with cable companies. The FCC should cancel their license.

It's sad that the days of free TV could be coming to an end. There should be a national internet service. It cost too much just to get internet to your home and then have to buy services like Aereo and Netflix.

Broadcasting industry is now in evolving phase. Too many competitors too many shits that we are forced to choose in a package for X cost where we only want just few of em, if you want one thats not on that package, upgrade package just for one channel, another 10 dollars leaking from wallet. Stupid

As I predicted, there won't be any more free shows from ANY source.

Corporations America is getting very greedy, they don't care about you, they care only about one thing… THEIR OWN MONEY.

YOU, Chevy75… YES you! I believe you are old enough to remember that CBS refused outright providing closing captions on their shows when NCI was founded back in 1979? Why care about CBS?
