I have to ask again why did they close TV Department ?

Empress:
Well I was in deafchat and I happened to chat with the tv department
deaf student.... he was a freshmen, I never met him, but he didn't
know he was chatting with ME.
So... he said that D**** was bossing people around....
"Mr. Know it all better than you" type of person he is, and people
there got fed up... it was out of control.
So the news media shut down....
I came back in year 2000, and I saw the old ex chairperson, she told me she is no longer the chairperson, and I looked at her chest....
It looks like she had chest surgery or heart surgery, her incision was like
12 inches long from neck to tummy....
So I met the new chairperson, he was from South America...
He was a tough professor....
I took his classes and he always fuss at the classmates for not
reading the books, "Why you not reading your book, why are you
here for? Why you even take this class if you're not gonna read the book?"
And one of the smart aleck students said, "I don't give f*** about the book, I wanna start making movies."
So anyway, the professor pass each of us a paper.... about the size of the tv remote control and he said we can cheat during the test...
That was insulting statement....
Well you guys know me, I was silly as usual, sort of a class clown,
I didn't take that seriously
So, anyway... I was making F's and other students didn't do so well...
I just quit and went to CSUN where I can get better education in TVs...
Anyway.... I came back to Gallaudet in 2003... to see what was going on.
I was wondering where is everybody....
And so the Librarian direct me to the Art Department, so I went there
and there was digital media, computer mac, and
I met a female professor.... and we have our little classes
And I asked one of the classmates why we don't have classes at
the TV DEPARTMENT, she said "It is closed down, because nobody
want to study. The new Chairperson walked OUT!!!!"
So anyway... the female professor said she doesn't want
to teach digital media anymore.... she might still teaching it,
but she doubt it if another professor will replace her...
So I graduated... and I did saw in class schedule book that the tv classes were removed for the 2004 fall semester...
There was this Asian classmate and other classmates they didn't
want tv department to close down... so anyway, the Asian classmate
said that he might go to RIT to take tv classes there.
So anyway... I don't know whatelse is happening....
But I remember that the TV Department did have many equipments...
including Closed Caption machine....
That CLosed Caption machine.... you can type up words in the videotape
What you called that?
Captioning the videotape for deaf people to watch....
It would be useful for people who got DVD or Videotape that have no
CC on it... and they could go to Gallaudet and ask someone there
at the TV Department to captioning their favorite movies for the deaf people.
I don't know if they have that Captioning Machine anymore.
So am I going off topic?
