I want to know if it is possible to make a TDD call thru internet ?? Thanks.
 
Yes... use AIM, YIM, MIM, or ICQ. ;)

It's cheaper to talk on AIM than on TTY. Why? With a TTY, you have to call someone and then sit and watch the old TTY type up very slowly. With AIM, you can type as fast as you want and do even better stuff such as... "Hey, I got a haircut today. Here! *sends picture*" ;)

I never made a TTY to TTY call thru the computer. I know about relay. Can you explain alittle more in depth so that I have a better idea of what to do please? Thank you :) :thumb:
 
Done that, Nextalk offers free software you could use on your PC to call friends who don't have computer but landlined TTY phone. It is free, the only requirement is that you register to use it. That is it.

what about i711 it seems to work ok, I have tried it a cupple of times at freinds houses.
 
No, it won't go to TTY directly! But will work if you use relay to turn over to the voice.

Believe or not. MY friend told me that she always use AIM : My IP Relay. It's faster than Relay software on sk.
