They said that the area was irrigated, so they don't think it was caused by drought. They have to wait for the arborist's report.
Now you know why I wanted my trees cut down. When they go, there's no warning, and they weigh tons.
I hope the children who were critically injured have a quick and complete recovery.
It must have been scary for everyone present.
I'm sorry that there weren't captions.Really , the ground looked so dry to me , I thought that was very wise of you to had cut your trees down they were right next to your house.
Yes , I am really concerned for the children that were critically injured as everyone else here are. We have a park in my city and most of trees had
'dog tag' nailed onto them , so when a tree does need attention the city can find the tree easier. There a lot old pines tree in our park and I am always looking up when I walk pass the trees. The poor children. I only read the story and not video , it has no CC . Damn!

They mentioned on the news that the roots were very shallow on the tree. It did look that way. That's a bad sign for the health of tree.
in the early or mid 1980's my family went to camping at Big Sur. A large tree fell down just missed the tent and picnic table. The park ranger came by and saw the tree and hauled away.
