I think it was pretty horrific for everybody affected by the crash. I hope everyone is able to come through this health wise and financially and prayers to the family of life lost. It'll be interesting to see if sleep deprivation may have been a factor in the Walmart driver losing control or if it was just speed and negligent driving.

I'm pretty sure those limo buses do not have seat belts. Not sure if they would have helped in this case. Sad!!

“We’re praying for the family and friends of the passenger who lost his life in the terrible accident in New Jersey. Our hearts go out to everyone involved and we hope those who were injured get the care that they need and make a full recovery.

“This is a tragedy and we are profoundly sorry that one of our trucks was involved. We are working quickly to understand what happened and are cooperating fully with law enforcement to aid their investigation.

“The facts are continuing to unfold. If it’s determined that our truck caused the accident, Walmart will take full responsibility.

“Safety is our absolute highest priority, but that is no comfort whatsoever to the families and friends who are suffering today. We offer them our deepest condolences. We can’t change what happened, but we will do what’s right for the family of the victim and the survivors in the days and weeks ahead.”

I'm hope not get again but walmart truck driver is in charge for comedian&actor Tracy Morgan plus his friends also..but walmart driver get on admin leave I don't know how long will be till complete of investigation or he will fired or resign chosen..

the hospital he's staying at is close to my university. personally - I wouldn't want to be hospitalized there because it's a teaching hospital and it's in ghetto area.

The Wal Mart truck driver has not slept in 24 hours ! That is insane! Does Wal-Mart give their drivers a deadline to meet while making a delivery ?

Uh, maybe because he was in critical condition and that was the nearest hospital that could take him? I really don't know since I have not kept up with the news nor know the area. Just a guess.

because it's the nearest one... and he's most likely not stable enough to be transferred to different hospital. beside - that hospital is equipped to handle his medical needs but he's probably not familiar with it like I am. if I were him - I'd demanded to be transferred to somewhere else.
