Also "Carrie" with actress Sissy Spacey.
Yeah, The Shining was a good movie. Jack Nicholson was a perfect actor for that role.

You ever see the recent version of The Shining? It's a little more modern because of the special effects, but it's not as creepy as the original version. :dunno:

Are you talking about the one with Steven Weber (from Wings)? I saw that, and I liked Kubrick's version way better. But here is an interesting tidbit: Stephen King actually hated the way the first The Shining came out and gave thumbs up to the recent version with Steven Weber because it was closer to his book.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. :run:

Well Vampy I seen all of them except
"The Ring"
"Seven"
"28 Days Later"
"The Thing"
"The Evil Dead"
"Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer"
" An American Werewolf in London"

- Silence of Lambs
- The Ring ~ didn't scare me, but it was a great movie nevertheless.
- Seven
- 28 Days Later
- The Thing
- Carrie

That's the one...

Yeah, I heard about that too.

A lot of the recent movies can be made to follow the books closely due to improved technology. I've never read the book. If I read the book, then I might learn to appreciate the recent version better. :dunno:
