"Too Radical for Reagan", says Obama.

On Tuesday Obama made the statement during a speech that former President Reagan would not recognize today's Rep. congresspersons because these Reps. are unwilling to go along with a increase in taxes in exchange for cuts in spending.
Obama fail to mention that Reagan regret that day he got snookered by the Dems. because he accepted the deal, taxes were increased, and spending cuts never happened.
Reagan and the Rebs. were taught a valuable lesson: Beware of Dems. bearing gifts. Toiday's Rebs. do not want to go down that road. That road leads straight over the cliff for Americans.
 
Our country desperately needs another leader like Ronald Reagan right now!
 
He did it again!!!!!! Today Obama once again disparged the name of Ronald Reagan!! When is this guy going to speak the truth and get his facts straight?
 
According to you.... 'he failed to mention'...... that is called an omission, not a false statement. It's politics and elections. par for the course , it goes both ways.

Don't even try it. You can't not try to put words in my mouth. Go back and re-read my posts. Not once did I use "false statement". Perhaps Obama did commit an omission but, being POTUS and having a huge staff, it would have to be a deliberate omission and a intentional disparage of Reagan.

does that mean.... Obama lied?
 
1) The Republican party members know Reagan and his dealing with a Democrat Congress, so they know the truth. Obama lied when he said Reagan would find todays Reps. too radical.

2) Calling Reagan a socialist is another lie.

Any member who can prove Obama told the truth, post the proof here.

A lie is deliberate.
A false statement is not always deliberate.

Omission is not a lie.
You claim to be an independent... yet you seem to be on the attack against democrats.
