Foot Fetish Got Arkansas Man Tossed In Jail In 1990s
An Arkansas man's "foot fetish" that got him tossed in jail in the 1990s has him in hot water again.
Michael Robert Wyatt, 50, was arrested Monday after two women identified him from a photo lineup as "the man who approached them in local stores commenting on their feet and asking to suck their toes," Conway Police Department spokeswoman LaTresha Woodruff told Reuters.
One of the women described the man as having "really messed up toes."
Earlier in the month an 83-year-old woman told police she was sitting in a chair in front of her apartment when a man approached her. He took off one of her shoes and began sucking her toes, police said.
In the 1990s, Wyatt was convicted and even served time in prison for his obsession.
In one case in 1991, he was busted after telling a convenience store clerk that he wanted to chop off her feet, then suck on her toes while she bled to death, the New York Daily News reported.
He was sentenced to four years in prison, but only served one.
Wyatt has also been convicted of pretending to be a podiatrist to fondle women's feet at clothing stores and suck on their toes, as well as taking pictures of women's feet at a local Walmart.
