Now that I'm a former Nintendo fan and now an Xbox fan, I no longer have any interests in Nintendo anymore due to its lack of third party support and lack of games on gamecube which can't even be compared to PS2 and Xbox, but that doesn't mean that I hate Nintendo and I still respect Nintendo in many ways, even though I dont think I want to get me an Revloution next year either. I respect Nintendo for its wonderful memories during the Nintendo 64 era, which was a major blast for me. I mean, come to think of it...Perfect Dark, Mario Kart 64, Turok 2, Zelda : Ocarina of Time, Super Mario 64, Goldeneye 007, Diddy Kong Racing, Quake II, Star Fox 64, Extreme-G, and many more. those were such warm and fun memoriable moments during my teenage years. with GameCube, I thought it was gonna be alot cooler than the N64...play DVDs, have an internet broadband connection, tons of third party support since Nintendo has finally got into the disc techlogy, I thought Nintendo would already be a "revloution" but then again...I was wrong. I looked at the way it grows, I look at other ppl bitching at nintendo, I looked at third parties bitching about those mini discs, and I even looked at NIntendo bitching about the online shit sayin that gamers dont want to play online games, so thats when I realized how fucked Nintendo really is...

I mean, look at it this way. Sony and Microsoft wanted to give what gamers want. tons of entertainment with loads of games that are suitable for kids, teens, and adults. gives out better controller designs, gets plently of third party support so to make more games and get more customers buying the games for their systems. Sony and Mircosoft is doing the gamers' way. BUT with Nintendo, Nintendo only do what they WANT. Nintendo doesnt want to do what gamers want..they want them to do what they like...only publish plenty of silly, chidlish educated games that nobody even gives a crap about. and Nintendo is only trying to stay alive but BARELY! with Link, Mario, and Samus still trying to catch up to get into the throne it once was when Sony became wildly popular with its Playstation over the next few years because of Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, Tomb Raider, Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil, and many others that they find are quite more fun than the games on Nintendo 64. and when I say "fun", fun is very damn important in games. right now with gamecube, there aren't really alot of games that are considered "fun" and "enjoyable" to play and something that you want to play over again and again, etc...the only most fun and enjoyable game I ever find for gamecube is Resident Evil 4. THAT'S IT! I'm not quite impressed with the amount of games I have for gamecube now. I have WAY more games for the PS2 and Xbox, indeed. Anyway, with the Revolution coming out next year, it's up to you gamers to decide if you want one or NOT want one, because I already made my decision, even though it's not out yet because I'm not interested in the controller remote and the controller shell is only used for backwards capiablity on gamecube games for the revloution and other than that, I hear that the graphics on the revloution wouldn't be as good as graphics that run on Perfect Dark Zero on Xbox360...pitiful, if you ask me.
there were words on the streets that Revloution's downloads for old school games would be free, blah blah blah believe whatever crap they tell you because whatever they say are never 100% true.

and Nintendo say that Xbox360 is NOT a revloution!??!

 I hate to see how embrassassed Nintendo is in the next few years with a remote controller and lack of third party support and shit, etc...it would be like the gamecube all over again.

anyway, enough of my smart mouth...here's the secret on the release of Nintendo Revloution it comes out...

I salute ya steel for standin' up to em Nintendo fanboys. I've havent owned a Nintendo home system since the original NES. (I still keep a Gameboy Advance that hasnt been played very much since I bought it a year ago) What got me more attuned towards Sega and my march to M$ went way back to 1993 and Mortal Kombat.

Sega allowed blood and other violent scenes in the first 16-bit release of Mortal Kombat. Nintendo's policy then wouldnt allow blood or violence to be in any games third-party or not. Guess who won the Mortal Kombat battle? Sega was it. When I got my Sega Genesis, I bought the Genesis version of MK and I was amazed at how Midway and Sega managed to pull off keeping the spirit of MK Arcade version when porting over to the Genesis. The S-NES version was way lame with sweat in place of blood when the character was taking a beating.

So since then I have stuck with Sega, Sony and M$ for my gaming and gave Nintendo the heave-ho for my home gaming needs...... The Revolution can take a hike 'cuz the seat next to my xbox1 are reserved for the xbox360 and PS3. The Revolution's wand aint impressing the hell out of me.

Who knows maybe they'll have a controller shell at E3? At least the Revolution has FIVE generations of video games that's backwards compatible with it. They even suggested that the older games can be downloaded and be PLAYED with a GAMECUBE CONTROLLER. why did you think they put in these GCN controller ports on the console, Steel hmm?

I agree with you.

I look at Nintendo and other consoles as I do with MACs and other PCs. PCs offer a variety of games regardless of how the computer looks. MACs don't offer much and tends to be only for itself. They also take pride in the design of the computer. When I look at the upcoming Nintendo Revolution... it does look like a video game version of the iMac. ;)

I pity you. M$ put brainwash on your to be think same.

Agreed. Besides no one said we can only own one system. We can own more than one system at a time.

Nintendo's gonna have it all, and more. I am more than confident when I say that, espeically when it comes to Nintendo. I will get a PS3 down the road when it goes down in price and ol' Sony fixes all the "bugs". As for M$, I have given up on them and will not support any more of their supposed "consoles".

I'm going to wait until later. Who knows, I might get an improved version of the later consoles. ;)

aye, perhas in the future Sony would make a smaller version fo the PS3 like they did with the PSone and the PStwo lol.

then I would buy that at a cheaper price and get those games on the greatest hits like MGS4 and Final Fantasy 7. (remake exclusivly for the PS3) and afew others but Xbox360's the only one that would make me happy the most. :P

I have CP so the controller remote might be an issue for me. That's why I'm waiting to see if they does come out with a traditional controller shell add-on then I will decide if it's worth it.

A PSthree is inevitable. It will happen. History repeats itself. Nintendo > You. :gpost:
Yeah, look at this timeline:

1997-1998 - PSOne

2004 - PSTwo

2009 - PSThree.

Nintendo/gamecube suitable for young children because loves to play and fun..
Parent doesn't want their children become volience as Q4/Mortal Kombat battle and related voilence games... which it's good reason..

As for you wanted play volience use Sega/Xbox/PS2 suitable teenager to ADult.. perfect..

I hope you have to understand..

I do support Nintendo and gamecube reason for my young children.. *smile*

it's not like those violent games that kids play would make 'em violent.

it's really rare that this kind of shit happens, and yet it's disapointing and embrassassing to see how so many parents blame the videogame companies when they failed to see the ratings that is labled on the cover of the game.
