it seems to be something wierd going on. In this particular thread started by Miss P I am the last poster and yet Rose figures as last before you open the thread. When I clicked on the name it opened my own profile.

I sure hope it's not a virus. It all started with me receiving this email:

This is a message from sakamra at alldeaf.com v4 The alldeaf.com v4 owners cannot
accept any responsibility for the contents of the email.

I was lulled into false sense of securtity seeying how it is from Alldeaf and opened the mail. I sure hope it wasn't bad thing to do..

Could you please possibly look into it?
Who'se Rose Mcnight? why it opens as ME?

I went over to that thread and saw what you mean. It is odd and I am not going to click on that name rose_mcnight in case it is a virus. Hope the mods will look into it soon.
 
I have not gotten one yet and if I get one that smells like a scam. I will report it to Alex.
 
Audiofuzzy: It's nothing to worry about. What happened was that the account (rose_mcnight) was deleted and the database was not updated right away. Since you were the last poster after the account was removed, it would link to your profile.
 
whew Thank you Alex and whew it's a relief. As it happens, also after clicking on the name the loading of the AD pages went suddenly very slow, and I was really worried.

ps- I usually too delete mails from unknown senders but since this one said AD I thought it's safe. I guess it is, since it seem to be other stuff than virus.
 
Ah, AD loading slowly on and off since yesterday was another issue. Apparently, someone in the same network was abusing their resources, but that's taken care of now.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused. ;)
