tinnitus testing

hi everyone. im going into hospital tomorow to recieve some tests as they suspect i have severe tinnitus (after receiving a concussion). i just wondered what to expect from these tests?
 
It depends on what type of testing you're having done. If you see an ENT or an audiologist, they'll test your hearing to see if you've lost any.

But doesn't Tittinus block your hearing somewhat? From what I've read of some member's threads, seemed like it blocked hearing?
 
The tinnitus severity test is like a hearing test with beeps but they give u diff sounds that try to match the sound, tones and pitch etc of your tinnitus since everyones tinnitus is ...Its a lil long i think mine was 45 min but i think i had a small hearing test b4 mine as well so maybe it was like 30 min..it was a lil boring ill warn u now lol but oo well..They also will prolly talk bout diff ways to cope with ur tinnitus and such...Good luck!!
