in the east, and elsewhere they STILL do it !!, half of us arent seen or have any idea of the rest of the world....
sure those places might have cellphones, but they still arent that 'modernised', and YES arranged marriage of this extreme still exits.
I would bet that the only time UN, or whatever intervenes as a court case to stop those marriages on young girls is when they 'got caught by westerners /attention' only to save face /reputation of that country, otherwise they dont care.
