If a child is born into a DV situation, watching their parents duke it out all the time, how can a child know what a loving relationship is?
That child grows up and emulates exactly what he/she saw and learned.
You know.. "monkey see & monkey do". Children pick up what they learn.
The statement that women are at fault for not leaving their abusive spouses is just as bad as you stating it.
It's just as bad as the men/women laying their hands on their partners but wait a minute.. what about accountability?
We need to go way back to how we grew up and now take the little child that grew up.
Remember "monkey see.. monkey do."
Before you say it's the victim's fault.. remember it is the assaulter's fault as well.
