My family history is spotty at best on the subject of hearing loss and since my younger half sister was just diagnosed with a mild loss at 30. We share the same father(My loss is progressive-congenital & me and my wife want to start a family soon). I decided I wanted the mystery solved. I just went to the genetics center at The Cleveland Clinic to have myself tested(I get the results in a few weeks). I was just tired of the mystery of the hole thing.
